We are asked about many aspects of web and graphic design, and the answers below will hopefully shed some light on what we do, what we don’t do, how we do it and more. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact us by using the form below.

Why should I choose you over another design company?

We specialise in just the one market area in order to be able to understand it as well as possible. We will advise you on the content of your website, taking into account your potential target market. We do a lot of research to pinpoint exactly what translation and interpreting buyers are looking for, and incorporate this into the eye-catching elements of your website or marketing campaign. Making your website attractive and conveying the right image to your potential clients is what we are all about. We also work closely with you on every stage of the project – your designated project manager will be with you every step of the way.  

How do you help translators and interpreters?

Being deeply ingrained in the industry helps us to distinguish different marketing angles, with which we can create your new online presence. We ensure that translators and interpreters are fully equipped to start or restart promoting their businesses. From building websites to advising on content, copywriting, branding or design services, it is our mission to share this business-minded approach within the industry. Every business, whether large or small, needs a professional approach, look and feel in order to get the clients it wants.  

Why do you work mostly on WordPress? Where can I find more information about it?

We have developed a system of working on WordPress websites, as we see it as the most flexible AND user-friendly content management system around. The flexibility of the design is unlimited, taking into account all the relevant code of course, and the easy editing and page building allow for quick and painless modifications, both from the client and provider’s side of things.

You may have also heard about – it runs on the same engine, but is controlled and maintained from .com providers. If your website is on, we may be able to modify it, but it doesn’t allow for full flexibility. It may be necessary to build a new website using the .org version, an independent installation of the CMS (content management system). To do that and get your website running, we will need a separate server space (we cannot use hosting). You may have more questions about this, so either ask us now, or ask your project manager when you sign up to work with us!

Is your design responsive?

All of our websites are built to be responsive, adjusting to multiple devices across the most popular platforms, browsers and devices. We will always make sure that your website displays well on mobiles and tablets before fully handing it over to you. 

Do you provide domain names and server space?

Not at the moment. We are planning to offer those services in the near future, but for now we are able to recommend reliable places to get domains and hosting from. Either ask us now, or ask your PM during the project. 

How long does it take to create a website?

Usually about 4 weeks, depending on the type of service required. Please refer to the Website Design page for estimated timings or contact us to confirm what you need and get a personalised quote.

Will I be able to edit my own content?

Yes! That’s why we work on WordPress. You will be provided with your own admin account and a written tutorial, which should help you with text editing on your website. Some of the other website functionalities will be adjustable as well, but the general rule is: we’re responsible for the design and cannot guarantee that a client with a minimum knowledge of WordPress and code will be able to adjust all the elements of the website themselves. If you need bigger changes on the website, you can always get back to us and we’ll be more than happy to help!  

Do you optimise websites? What are your SEO policies?

All our websites are SEO-ready and we always make sure we install the best SEO plugin we know and let you know how to use it. We do not currently provide ongoing SEO tracking and maintenance. We always make sure we do all we can before the website launch, so the titles, meta tags, some keywords highlighted on the website, content advice and general SEO advice are all things that we can help with. We can also help you to set up basic SEO plugin settings and advise on tools.

Please note: your website will not be immediately visible in Google searches. It takes time for the new website to be properly crawled and indexed by Google and other search engines. You can read more information here:–crawling–indexing—ranking.

What do I need to provide you with in order to create my website?

We will need your content (text and photos), unless you have ordered a copywriting service from us. Your project manager will agree on a deadline with you, to which the content will be delivered. We will, of course, need your feedback during the project, and login access to your designated server and/or domain address account in order to be able to upload your new website. We will notify you about this during the project.  

What are your payment terms?

The first upfront payment needs to be made before we start work on the project to cover initial costs. Then, the rest is to be paid within 30 days after the date of the first invoice. These dates will be visible on your invoice, so please make a note of them. We may offer you payment in instalments to facilitate your project and help with budgeting. What is the story behind your own branding?

To be honest, it was something that came to us quickly and it was an on-the-spot decision to include natural elements and a frog in our brand to liven things up. We like to be close to nature and the idea seemed exciting. We’d like our designs and websites to come as naturally as possible – with no unnecessary elements, no outdated code and graphic design suited to our client’s needs and personality. It is important to maintain the connection between who we are as business owners and how we express ourselves and the image we want to convey professionally.

The main cause behind ideas will remain a secret – we don’t like to share the precise reasons behind our *special ingredients* or the little extras we throw in!
